About the role

Construction Crew Member
At Valor Contracting, you will play a hands-on role in various construction tasks, including unloading, assembling, and installing materials, maintaining a clean and organized job site, operating tools, and assisting concrete, carpentry, and steel crews.
Position Logistics
Work Environment: On-Site
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 7 am - 5 pm
Work Type: Full Time, Hourly

Responsibilities

• Unloading materials
• Assembling and installing materials
• Keeping the job-site clean and organized
• Operating hand and power tools
• Assisting concrete, carpentry, and steel crews
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from the job-site
• Enjoy working outside, in all weather conditions
• Able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
• Able to lift, maneuver and climb varied size ladders, including 30 ft expandable ladders, and follow all ladder and roof safety compliance measures
• Forklift experience (preferred, not required)
• Responsible, accountable, dedicated, punctual, professional and dependable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in construction or related field preferred

Skills

• Strong physical fitness and stamina
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations
