About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Decision Science Analyst Senior to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will drive advanced analytical support for complex business decisions, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to turn data into actionable recommendations. The analyst will apply statistical methods, data visualization, and data wrangling techniques to help guide strategy and improve understanding for technical and non-technical audiences. This is a highly collaborative position with an emphasis on clear communication, documentation, and delivering insights that support management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Leverage analytical knowledge to lead discussions with cross-functional teams
• Apply advanced techniques to solve medium to large-scale business problems
• Translate recommendations into effective communication materials for management
• Incorporate visualization techniques to enhance understanding for non-technical audiences
• Identify and gather quality data sources for analysis and strategy development
• Document assumptions and methodologies for compliance and peer reviews
• Stay informed on current data and analytics trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or 4 years of relevant experience
• 6 years of data and analytics experience, or 4 years plus 2 years of functional business experience
• Advanced skills in mathematical and statistical techniques for decision-making
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, SQL, SAS, and BI tools
• Experience working with new data sets and data wrangling techniques

Pay

$114,080 – $218,030 annually
