We help you navigate the vast landscape of digital content, highlighting the best movies and shows available on platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, and more.

This paid internship (24 hrs/week) runs from September 14, 2026 to November 20, 2026 and requires in-office attendance at our Midtown Manhattan office. Open to current juniors, seniors, MA students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.

About the role

Join our dynamic team as a Decider Features Intern and be part of a rapidly growing digital property that’s redefining how audiences discover and engage with streaming content. You’ll gain hands-on editorial experience, work directly with a talented news team, and learn the ins and outs of digital reporting, content creation, and breaking news. This is your chance to make an impact in the rapidly growing world of digital entertainment news.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research for exciting content the Decider team is working on, from articles and lists to reports and deep dives.
• Gather and edit digital assets (images, screencaps, GIFs, videos) that bring Decider stories to life.
• Participate in content planning meetings and pitch your own fresh ideas for articles, galleries, videos, and social media campaigns.
• Execute approved content on Decider.com and across our social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to engage our audience.
• Assist the Decider staff in covering the latest entertainment, streaming, and pop culture news with speed and accuracy.
• Write and report weekly stories, SEO-driven articles, and blog posts—getting your byline out there.

Requirements

• A pop culture aficionado who knows what’s trending, what’s classic, and everything in between.
• A creative and flexible thinker who loves finding new angles on entertainment stories and social trends.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with readers.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• An eager team player who’s excited to contribute and learn from experienced journalists.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is required; knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
