Deburr Tech

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload workpieces onto grinding and deburring equipment.
  • Inspect workpieces for defects, irregularities, and imperfections prior to and during processing.
  • Measure and mark materials to ensure proper dimensions, specifications, and tolerances are achieved.
  • Perform grinding and deburring operations to remove excess material and create a smooth, quality finish.
  • Clean and prepare cores and metal components for production and finishing processes.
  • Band, organize, and prepare finished metal products for movement and shipment.
  • Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and product quality.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools and instruments to verify finished dimensions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
  • Absorb additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a Deburr Technician, Grinder, or in a similar manufacturing or fabrication role preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of grinding techniques, finishing methods, and related equipment.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle heavy workpieces and materials.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to metal dust, noise, and production equipment.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday.
