Troubleshooting and Repair
- Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment at the component level.
- Handles units that may have workmanship or technical errors.
- Operates electronic test equipment and conducts special tests as required.
- Analyzes software, test, protocol, and script logs to diagnose and verify reason for test failure.
- Determines whether to send for repair or retest after verifying causes for failures.
- Provides technical assistance, feedback, and guidance to other technical personnel and departments.
- Collaborates with engineers on functionality issues and procedure updates.
- Affords technical support during the installation, debug, and validation of process equipment.
Shift Details
2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:15pm (Monday-Friday)
Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate electronic test equipment and conduct special tests.
- Knowledge of software, test, protocol, and script logs analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
