Debt Finance Attorney: 1st-3rd year

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions
• Close transactions
• Draft documents and issues lists in connection with debt financing transactions
• Have a working knowledge of secured lending transactions
• Have familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists in connection with the same
• Knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code
• Experience with acquisition financing (including commitment letters)
• Experience with debt securities offerings (including high yield and/or convertible notes)
• General corporate law experience

Requirements

• JD or equivalent degree
• Nationally recognized law school
• Larger law firm training and development experience
• Ability to work on multiple diverse projects simultaneously
• Work that reflects strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions

Skills

• Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
• Experience in closing transactions
• Familiarity with drafting documents and issues lists in connection with the same
• Knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code
• Experience with acquisition financing (including commitment letters)
• Experience with debt securities offerings (including high yield and/or convertible notes)
• General corporate law experience

Pay

The expected annual pay range for this position is $225,000-$260,000. Final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
