About the role
The Dean of the School of Nursing (SoN) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (UW–Madison) serves as the chief academic and executive officer of the SoN, reporting to the Chancellor through the Provost. UW–Madison is recognized as one of the world’s leading public research universities.
Qualifications
- Earned research doctorate (Ph.D. or equivalent) in nursing or a related field. If the research doctorate is not in nursing, candidates must hold a graduate degree in nursing.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in research, teaching, and service to ensure eligibility for tenure at UW–Madison.
- Eligibility for registered nurse licensure in Wisconsin.
