About the role

The Indiana Institute of Technology (Indiana Tech) seeks a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of its College of Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the university's mission of providing career-focused, hands-on education that aligns with real-world workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the College of Business that enhance academic excellence and student success.
• Oversee curriculum development and ensure alignment with industry trends and workforce demands.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, alumni, and community partners to foster partnerships and resources for students.
• Lead faculty development initiatives to promote innovation and best practices in teaching and research.
• Manage the budget and financial operations of the College of Business, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Represent Indiana Tech at regional and national business conferences and events.

Requirements

• A Doctorate in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, preferably in a business or management-related field.
• Proven track record of successfully leading educational institutions and managing budgets.
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and curricula.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and external partners.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The Dean of the College of Business is expected to work a standard full-time schedule, with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities as needed.
