Dean of the Business School

For our client, we are seeking a Dean of the Business School to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This senior academic leadership role will guide the business school’s vision, operations, and long-term growth within a dynamic higher education environment. The position will play a central role in advancing academic quality, strengthening enrollment outcomes, and supporting the institution’s broader strategic priorities. The dean will also work closely with faculty, staff, and university leaders to build external partnerships and expand resources that support the school’s mission. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of academic credibility, strategic leadership, and operational expertise to a complex and evolving university setting. Location: Worcester, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $275,000 – $350,000 annually Responsibilities Provide visionary and operational leadership to enhance the school’s role. Oversee curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes. Lead initiatives for student recruitment, retention, advising, and graduation. Develop and manage a budget exceeding $7M. Build partnerships with industry leaders and secure external funding. Qualifications Doctoral degree in a relevant field and a record of scholarly achievement for tenured professor status. Minimum five years of leadership and administrative experience in higher education. Proven strategic planning and budget management experience with complex financial and human resources.
