Dean of Students (2026 - 2027)

About the role

The Dean of Students will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and implementing disciplinary intervention and PBIS programs. They will motivate students to make positive decisions and will serve as part of the extended leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Motivate students in a positive direction to increase individual decision making responsibilities
• Work cooperatively with the principal, counselor, faculty, students, and parents to foster a positive school culture
• Provide proactive leadership to engage the school community in supporting students' academic achievement and personal/social development
• Successfully work with culturally diverse families and communities
• Work positively with all students to assist them in meeting their academic and behavioral goals
• Experience working with special populations is an asset in this role

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Education
• 5+ years of successful teaching/counseling/dean experience

Qualifications

• Ability to serve as part of the extended leadership team
• Solution-oriented, planning, and facilitating staff meetings and cultural community projects and events
