Job Summary

Augusta University invites expressions of interest and nominations for the position of Dean of the Hull College of Business. Augusta University seeks a visionary, entrepreneurial, and collaborative leader who will play a central role in shaping the success, growth, and future of the Hull College of Business.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts in promoting excellence in student learning, research/scholarship, teaching, and community engagement
• Award external resources and fundraise
• Prioritize enrollment growth
• Support the university’s leadership role in regional economic development and entrepreneurship

Required Qualifications

• An earned doctoral degree in a related discipline, relevant academic administrative experience, and a record of scholarly achievement commensurate with an appointment at the rank of Professor with tenure at the time of appointment.
• A professor-senior level career faculty member with 10 or more years of experience in related fields to include five years at the rank of Associate Professor or comparable training, background, and experience.

Shift/Salary/Benefits

This position is fiscal year based and works year-round. The intended work commitment or full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is 1.0 and considered full-time. Provide one of the following for each of the ranks identified in the posting:

• Minimum salary (can provide a salary range if desired)
• Statement - salary "Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds."
