About the role
The College of Professional Programs (CPP) at Eastern Washington University (EWU) is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and inclusive leader to serve as the next Dean. Established in 2021, CPP houses various schools and programs that collectively offer transformative learning experiences to over 4,000 students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for CPP that aligns with workforce needs and enhances academic excellence and innovation.
- Elevate CPP as a community partner and position EWU as an anchor institution in the region.
- Lead the college's growth in online programs and increase enrollment in CPP programs.
- Build on the strengths of each school within CPP to foster a cohesive and unified college.
- Champion academic excellence and innovation in collaboration with faculty and staff.
Requirements
- A terminal degree in a discipline within the College of Professional Programs or in a closely related field.
- A minimum of three years of successful experience in leadership positions.
- A record of accomplishment that merits appointment as a tenured associate professor or professor in the college.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $190,000 to $240,000. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package.
