About the role

The Dean will be the chief executive of the College of Allied Health Sciences and will lead the College in the development and support of strong educational, research, and clinical programs appropriate to the College's mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in promoting excellence in student learning, research/scholarship, teaching, and community engagement.
  • Achieve enrollment growth.
  • Support the university's leadership role as Georgia's public health care center.

Required Qualifications

  • An earned doctoral degree in a related discipline.
  • Relevant academic administrative experience.
  • A record of scholarly achievement commensurate with an appointment at the rank of Professor with tenure at the time of appointment.
  • At least 10 years of experience in related fields, including five years at the rank of Associate Professor or comparable training.
