Dean of Health Science
About the role
The Dean of Health Sciences is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Health Sciences division, including ensuring appropriate course offerings; leading program review, assessment, and program accreditation; and developing, with faculty, support programs that strengthen instructional quality.
Responsibilities
- Ensures appropriate course offerings and leads program review, assessment, and program accreditation.
- Serves as the initial point of contact for student complaints and coordinates faculty advising assignments.
- Provides leadership in tracking key student success metrics.
- Conducts annual evaluations for all employees within the Health Sciences division.
- Recruits and supervises Health Sciences adjunct faculty and communicates regularly, in coordination with discipline assessment leaders.
- Ensures that faculty successfully deliver their courses in a variety of modalities, including appropriate use of the college’s learning management system.
- Works collaboratively with college leadership and appropriate external stakeholders to ensure fiscal oversight of the Health Sciences division.
- Assists with strategic planning and 4DX as an integral member of the Chief Academic Officer’s leadership team.
Requirements
The successful candidate will, at minimum, hold a Master’s degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and hold an unencumbered license to practice in their respective field, if applicable. They will have at least three years of experience in their profession, including clinical experience. Previous supervisory experience is also required.

Salary Range: $$73,272.00
