Company Description
The automotive industry and consumer preferences are shifting towards car subscription services, which are expected to reach US$8.7B in the U.S. market by 2030. scribeDRIVE offers a subscription service that combines elements of long-term car rental and flexible leases, providing maintenance, insurance, roadside assistance, and vehicle switching at a fixed monthly cost.
Role Description
The Sales Development role is a remote, contract position aimed at generating and qualifying new business opportunities with potential supply chain partners like car dealerships and fleet operators. Key responsibilities include:
- Researching potential prospects
- Conducting outbound calls and emails
- Engaging with inbound leads and introducing scribeDRIVE platform
- Scheduling discovery meetings and product demos for the sales team
- Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems
- Following up consistently to move opportunities through the pipeline
- Collaborating with sales and business development teams to refine messaging and support partnership growth
Qualifications
- Proven inside sales experience with strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability in lead generation, including prospecting, outbound outreach, and opportunity qualification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly present product value to diverse stakeholders
- Background in business development, including identifying new market opportunities and supporting partnership growth
- Comfort working in a remote environment with strong time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools to track activities, manage pipelines, and report on results
- Familiarity with automotive, fleet, or mobility software solutions is preferred but not required
- Relevant education or training in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Compensation
- Qualified Lead: $50 – $100 per fully qualified and approved lead
- Completed Meeting: $100 – $200 per completed sales meeting
- Closed/Won Commission: 1% – 3% of annual contract value (ACV), or $1,000 - $5,750, whichever is bigger, for each closed pipeline deal
- Performance Bonus: 10% – 15% increase for all leads above the set performance thresholds
