Dealership Payroll Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a Dealership Payroll Clerk to join our team at Trust Automotive Group. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in a Multi-Dealership Group environment and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the payroll and accounting departments by assisting with payroll processing, accounting processes, and payroll-related data entry.
• Aid in processing employee payroll accurately and timely.
• Aid in payroll data including hours worked, pay adjustments, commissions, and deductions.
• Maintain employee payroll files and records.
• Support payroll audits and verification of payroll information.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information.
• File payroll and accounting documents accurately.
• Support the payroll center with administrative duties as assigned.
• Understand and follow company policies, procedures, and payroll compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Previous clerical, administrative, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Previous dealership working experience, a PLUS!
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good work this including maintaining a neat work area.
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Bilingual, (Preferred but not necessary).
• Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment.
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and valid CA driver's license.

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
