Pay
Hourly pay range: $30–$55 per hour (depending on experience and certifications). Tenure Bonus program begins at 6 months from hire date, offering up to $3.50 per flat-rate hour.

Responsibilities
- Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or requested by the customer
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Notify service advisor immediately if additional work is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
- Document all work performed
- Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician (customer vehicles are not to be used for personal errands)
- Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes and keep abreast of technical bulletins
- Ensure customers’ cars are kept clean and shop area is neat
- Account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
- Follow federal, state, and local regulations, including disposal of hazardous wastes
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures; report accidents immediately
Requirements
- High CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) is a must
- ASE certification or manufacturing training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- 2–3 years of automotive technician experience
- Preferred experience in performing warranty and customer-pay work
- Ability to work independently
- Ford brand experience preferred
- Manual dexterity and good judgment
- Authorization to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license
