About the Role

The Indirect Loan Processor I manages multiple loan applications in a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the loan fulfillment and funding process. This role supports loan processing teams by facilitating clear communication with dealers, members, and internal departments to improve process consistency and timely loan disbursement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations and internal policies, applying them consistently.
  • Manage high volumes of loan-related communications while advancing multiple applications concurrently.
  • Meet quality assurance standards and performance metrics by completing accurate work and addressing errors promptly.
  • Identify root causes of issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Deliver high-quality service to dealers, members, and internal partners, including handling escalations effectively.
  • Review and verify application data and supporting documentation for completeness and consistency.
  • Obtain and validate necessary Department of Motor Vehicles documentation for lien perfection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve exceptions and facilitate efficient loan funding.
  • Perform post-preparation quality control audits on loan documents and operational reports.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Provide operational support through professional communication channels and assist with escalated inquiries.
  • Identify and escalate potential fraud or suspicious activities.
  • Conduct member interviews and perform financial analyses to satisfy loan conditions.
  • Prepare and verify loan documents for member signatures and coordinate loan disbursements.
  • Use judgment to resolve routine exceptions and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Manage shared work queues and coordinate with teammates to maintain workflow.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and trainings, communicating status and risks clearly.
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced lending or customer service environment with high volume and direct consumer contact.
  • Experience in consumer loan processing.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $21.01 to $23.00.
