Dealer School, Southland Casino
About the role
Delaware North Gaming is hosting a Table Games Dealer School for individuals interested in becoming a Table Games Dealer at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. Classes will start sometime in October (the actual date is to be determined). Classes will be held from 8 AM to 12 PM and 6 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Thursday. The program runs for 8 weeks. Classes are free for selected candidates. Upon successful completion, candidates may apply to become a dealer at Southland Casino. Acceptance into the Dealer School is not an offer of employment and there is no guarantee of an offer of employment upon completion.
Southland Casino Hotel, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 2,200 slot machines, live blackjack, craps, and roulette tables, simulcast wagering, and a sportsbook. The new hotel features 300 luxurious rooms and suites. Located in West Memphis, Arkansas, only a short drive from downtown Memphis, Tennessee.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to stand for long periods up to 3 hours and walk long distances
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs occasionally
- Ability to pass a color recognition test

$15.00 per hour
Schedule
Classes: 8 AM–12 PM and 6 PM–10 PM, Monday through Thursday (8‑week program).
