Initial Placement & Benefits

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities

• Open game at assigned table, count contents, verify count with closing list, inspect cards or dice and sign off with supervisor.
• Deal games, payout winnings, exchange currency for chips and inform guests of game rules.
• Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.
• Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.
• Ensure protection of game; maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with game rules and minimums set.
• Close game; sort cards, balance rack, count chips and sign off with the supervisor.
• Maintain the honesty and integrity of assigned games, controlling pace.
• Aid guest with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass an audition at the end of dealer school.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must understand and speak the English language.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.
• The team member frequently is required to stand and walk.
• The team member is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The team member requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment.
