About the role
The Table Games Dealer will be responsible for the efficient and responsible operation of the Table Games in the Seneca Gaming Corporation. This includes providing accurate and efficient dealing at assigned tables, maintaining card security, exchanging currency, assisting customers, reporting hazards, and adhering to policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and efficient dealing at assigned table.
- Maintain a continuous inspection of cards, ensuring their security.
- Exchange customer currency for checks (chips) and deposit paper currency in the proper container.
- Ensure the safety of all gaming chips and monies entrusted.
- Aid customers in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies, and procedures.
- Report any safety hazards to immediate supervisor.
- Conduct the assigned games played on the tables in an efficient and responsible manner, complying with applicable rules and procedures.
- Keep the working environment clean and safe.
- Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security, including the Seneca Gaming Corporation's Acceptable Use Policy.
- Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons, communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
- Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers, and staff.
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of dealer training or previous dealing experience preferred.
- Fast and accurate handling of cash.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of money.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing and speaking effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
- Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully.
Qualifications
