Responsibilities
- Attends meetings, training activities, courses and all work-related activities as required.
- Checks accuracy of table bank inventory, marker, and table fill and table credit documents.
- Communicates buy-ins in compliance with established Pit procedures.
- Collections and replaces Casino Chips as needed.
- Promotes outstanding customer and Team Member relations.
- Conducts all Casino table games according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Ensures that wagers are placed before table gaming proceeds, such as dice being tossed, cards being dealt, or roulette wheel is spun.
- Accurately maintains the handling of cards, dice, chips, money and other gaming equipment at an appropriate rate to maintain game pace.
- Informs players of the rules and regulations as the game progresses.
- Calculates odds to pay winning bets.
- Collects losing bets and pays winning bets.
- Observes the players on and around the table in order to recognize playing style.
- Notifies Management of suspicious behavior.
- Refers guest complaints to supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have working knowledge of Casino Game assigned.
- Ability to read and write English proficiently.
- Ability to speak English.
- MUST HAVE PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF MATH INCLUDING ADDITION, SUBTRACTION, MULTIPLICATION, DIVISION, PERCENTAGES AND FRACTIONS.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations.
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Able to stand for 2 hours.
- Able to work in a smoking environment.
Skills
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient in all math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages and fractions.
Benefits
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards established by Boomtown from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Employee with irregular attendance will be subject to Margaritaville disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Employee may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
- This includes weekends and holidays on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis.
