Dealer Order Management Specialist

About the role
As a Dealer Order Management Specialist, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers and internal sales partners regarding order management. This role ensures smooth order processing from initial request through post-delivery resolution while coordinating with multiple teams to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience. You will contribute to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by managing orders, resolving inquiries, monitoring fulfillment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve order management inquiries from customers and internal sales partners
- Provide support for model identification, pricing, availability, system match-ups, promotions, and system solutions
- Process orders, including promise dates and order entry, while coordinating with teams throughout the order lifecycle
- Manage orders from placement through invoicing via phone, email, text, or chat
- Generate order reports and collaborate with teams to resolve open orders and returns
- Utilize operating systems effectively to support order fulfillment and customer activities
- Follow and develop standard work procedures to improve efficiency and consistency
- Identify opportunities to improve order flow and customer service processes
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–3 years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in an industrial environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer and order-related requests efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, sales partners, and internal teams
Pay
Annual base salary range of $31,600 to $44,765. Compensation type: Exempt Hourly. Not eligible for incentive compensation or sales commissions. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors.
