About the Role

A Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing cards, selling chips to customers, paying out winnings, collecting bets, and verifying fills and credits at gaming tables.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and maintain a friendly relationship with customers.
• Adhere to all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements.
• Exchange cash for playing chips and ensure wagers are placed before cards are dealt.
• Deal cards according to casino standard procedures.
• Compute payable odds to pay winning bets and collect losing bets.
• Possess a good working knowledge and understanding of Agua Caliente 21 games.
• Adhere to casino policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain the integrity of table games activity and ensure table security at all times.
• Keep the table clean and neat, and deposit paperwork in the drop box.
• Verify currency before placing it in the drop box.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of related experience and/or training in dealing cards, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass an audition and meet Agua Caliente Casinos requirements for dealing efficiency and proficiency.
• Must deal the game in a fluid manner and possess the ability to differentiate chip colors and values.
• Must have a professional demeanor and strong communication skills with the public.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to stand, move, and work throughout the casino and office areas, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
• Noise levels vary from moderate in office areas to louder in the casino environment.
• Must be able to grasp, bend, lift, and/or carry goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. intermittently.
• Requires sufficient hand dexterity to use office equipment such as computers, calculators, and multi-line telephones.
