Dealer/Dealer School

About the role

The Dealer will be responsible for the efficient and responsible operation of the Table Games in the Seneca Gaming Corporation and will conduct the assigned games played on the tables in an efficient and responsible manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and efficient dealing at assigned table.
• Maintain a continuous inspection of cards, ensuring the security of the same at all times.
• Exchange customer currency for checks (chips) and deposit paper currency in the proper container (drop box).
• Ensure the safety of all gaming chips and monies entrusted.
• Aid customer in playing and ensure adherence to established rules, policies and procedures.
• Report any safety hazards to immediate supervisor.
• Carry out the assigned games played on the tables in an efficient and responsible manner, and shall be in compliance with appropriate rule and procedures as it pertains to the Nation Gaming Operation.
• Keep the working environment in a clean and safe manner.
• Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy.
• Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
• Offer exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
• Attend all necessary meetings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicant must successfully complete dealer training or have previous casino dealing experience.
• Applicant must be fast and accurate in handling cash.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of money.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.

Pay

Starting Rate $10.35 Compensation Is Negotiable Based On Experience And Education. Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
