About the Role

Deal Structuring and Strategizing:

  • Direct the development and execution of strategic deal plans, working closely with sales teams to construct deals that maximize revenue without compromising on deal margin while maintaining compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Analyze deal profitability, pricing structures, and contract terms to ensure they meet business objectives and revenue goals.

Cross-Functional Coordination (RFP/RFI/ETC):

  • Act as the primary liaison between sales, finance, legal, Information Security and operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration during the deal review and approval process.
  • Facilitate negotiations by providing necessary documentation and insights, helping to remove roadblocks and expedite deal closure.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Vigilantly monitor deal parameters to ensure strict adherence to internal controls and external regulations, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Implement standardized protocols for deal approvals, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance across all transactions.

Process Improvement and Scalability:

  • Continuously assess and refine deal desk policies, procedures, and tools to enhance scalability and efficiency in response to evolving business needs.
  • Lead initiatives to automate and streamline the deal review process, reducing dependencies on manual methods.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of deal desk-related data, providing critical insights into deal trends, win-loss metrics, and performance against goals.
  • Leverage data analytics to forecast trends, track team performance, and inform strategic decision-making.

About You

  • 4+ years working with RFPs, RFIs, creating custom deals, etc.
  • BA/BS; master’s preferred
  • Effective communication, written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with change
  • Experience in using Salesforce or other CRM
  • Strong data analysis using Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PowerBI, etc.
  • Able to effectively present to all levels of a business including the C-Suite

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range: $108,900 - $136,000 + Annual bonus
