Deaf/Hard of Hearing Itinerant

About the role

Deaf/Hard of Hearing Itinerant for the Plano Area Special Education Cooperative (PASEC) for the 2027-28 school year. The successful candidate will be assigned to all PASEC buildings in Plano, Newark, and Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Serve students who require educational services due to hearing loss.
• Address the educational, communication, and social/emotional needs of students.
• Provide guidance to students' families and school personnel.
• Travel to multiple buildings to directly serve students.
• Consult with a variety of staff and teams to identify students with hearing loss and address individual student needs.

Requirements

• Professional Educators License with Endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing required.
