About the role

The Relief position at Open Sky Community Services offers an opportunity to gain experience and make a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Implement activities designed to foster personal relationships and valued roles within the community.
• Ensure daily living needs are met and maintain a safe yet inspiring atmosphere.
• Provide direct support care to enhance the well-being of those we serve.
• Avoid conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• A valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Reliability and willingness to learn new opportunities.
• An open mind to new experiences and challenges.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate the schedules of individuals served.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and their families.
• Basic computer skills for accessing and completing required documentation.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
