DCS Business Development Driver

For our client, we are seeking a DCS Business Development Driver to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This remote role will focus on driving business development efforts for distributed control systems within industrial manufacturing environments. The individual will partner closely with sales management, customers, internal technical teams, and suppliers to support solution development, proposals, and customer-facing presentations. This position will also help shape migration strategies for installed control systems while contributing to growth targets and commercial execution. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Create and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations for customers and sales teams Support automation roadshows and develop cost-effective distributed control system solutions for customers Develop long-term migration plans for existing distributed control system installations Manage proposals and bidding processes to align with organizational standards Interface with internal suppliers on pricing and technical questions Collaborate with sales management to achieve annual order volume and growth targets Provide technical support during customer meetings and negotiations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience Significant experience with distributed control systems, with preference for the 800xA system 2+ years of experience in the Pulp & Paper industry in a sales or service support role preferred Experience in a sales support or direct sales role is a plus Strong communication skills with technical presentation ability Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Ability to travel up to 50% Work authorization in the US is required Benefits Choice of two medical plans: PPO or High Deductible Health Plan with HSA Two dental plan options: Core and Core Plus Vision benefits included Company-paid life insurance and AD&D coverage Short- and long-term disability coverage paid by the company Parental leave of up to 6 weeks offered Employee Assistance Program for mental health support 401k Savings Plan with company contributions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
