About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. AWS is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of data centers. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations.

What you will do

• Perform hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair
• Install equipment
• Create documentation
• Innovate solutions and fix problems within the Data Center Space
• Work both independently and with a team
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Travel between locations (up to 10%)

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• High school or equivalent diploma

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure

Pay & Benefits

Starting pay: $32.00 - $56.00 USD hourly (final starting pay based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location).
