DCF Central Fulfilment Leader
About the role
The Drilling & Completion Fluids Central Fulfillment Leader is accountable for the global operational strategy, governance, and execution of DCF Central Fulfillment activities across Liquid Mud Plants (LMPs), Fluid Environmental Services (FES), Asset Management, Assembly Maintenance & Overhaul (AMO), and operational systems deployment. The successful candidate will serve as the partner to DCF leadership, Commercial, Technology, and Product Management teams on infrastructure and assets required to deliver flawless service to customers. This role requires strong global leadership, operational discipline, financial acumen, and the ability to drive standardization and execution across a geographically dispersed operating footprint.
The successful candidate must be capable of operating as the single point of accountability for DCF Central Fulfillment performance globally, ensuring strong governance, standardization, and execution across manufacturing, tolling, LMPs, AMO, FES, asset management, and operational systems. This leader will bring the operational depth, business judgment, and execution discipline required to support DCF growth, improve global fulfillment reliability, strengthen working capital performance, and deliver measurable contribution to Baker Hughes’ profitability.
Responsibilities
- Global Operational Excellence
- Lead global infrastructure and capex strategy for DCF LMP, AMO, FES, and associated fulfillment operations.
- Drive consistent execution across regions to improve HSE, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer fulfillment.
- Ensure infrastructure operational readiness to support customer campaigns, regional growth, project startups, and business expansion.
- Liquid Mud Plants, AMO & FES Asset Performance
- Establish and govern global operating standards, KPIs, rhythms, and performance management processes.
- Establish standard operating models for LMPs, AMO workshops, and FES operations across regions.
- Partner with regional service delivery teams to improve reliability, operating efficiency, and execution discipline.
- Provide global oversight for Liquid Mud Plants, AMO locations, FES assets, and related operational infrastructure.
- Manage asset deployment, utilization, lifecycle management, maintenance performance, and operational uptime.
- Drive productivity, reliability, capacity utilization, and cost improvement across the global DCF asset base.
- Support regional teams in resolving operational constraints impacting customer delivery and asset readiness.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Logistics, or related technical discipline.
- MBA, Master’s degree, or advanced qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma, APICS, PMP, or relevant operational excellence certification preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in supply chain, manufacturing, fulfillment, operations, asset management, or service delivery.
- Minimum 5 years in leadership roles managing complex operations, manufacturing networks, or geographically dispersed teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading manufacturing, blending, tolling, AMO, asset management, or field support operations for Drilling and Completion Fluids.
- Experience managing global or multi-region operational footprints with strong exposure to customer-facing execution.
- Proven success delivering operational productivity, cost reduction, margin improvement, working capital improvement, and cash generation.
- Strong knowledge of Oilfield Services, chemical manufacturing, process industries, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience with toll manufacturing, supplier qualification, external manufacturing governance, or third-party production models preferred.
- Experience working with SAP, planning systems, manufacturing systems, asset management tools, and operational dashboards.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to use KPIs to drive performance improvement.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to connect operational decisions to EBITDA, cash flow, margin, and customer fulfillment.
- Effective leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams, managing change, and creating a culture of accountability.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and align senior leaders across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, Technology, Quality, Sourcing, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
