DC Warehouse Associate

About the role

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within a distribution center. Supports key initiatives of the company by successfully completing operational responsibilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, safety, and cost control are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare orders for shipment
• Sort and maintain stock inventory using RF scanner
• Transfer materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
• Load and unload truck orders ensuring all loads are properly secured for outbound shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
• Maintain inventory records using worksheets and computer software
• Maintain and care for all equipment in warehouse including forklifts
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Attention to detail
• Forklift experience is an asset
