Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate receipt of all products received into the distribution center
• Handle all BOL documentation and itemized shipping documentation
• Apply a positive and enthusiastic approach to customer service while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
• Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King’s Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement
• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively
• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars
• Perform accurate inspection and counting of all products received in the warehouse
• Utilize operating systems affiliated with RK DC operations such as ATK, Latitude, etc.
• Move product via powered industrial equipment to and from locations once receipt is complete and processed
• Understand and follow vendor compliance processes
• Communicate with drivers after trailers are unloaded
• Rework problem freight
• Ensure quality and production KPI goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly
• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
• May be required to cross-train and perform other duties

Requirements

• Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Previous experience with powered industrial equipment
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Latitude systems
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate aligned with the People Promise, including a positive and passionate attitude for Rural King initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards

Physical Requirements
