DC Operations Manager (Weekend Night Shift)

About the role

Join the Burlington team as an integral part of our Distribution & Supply Chain Leadership team. You will drive operational efficiencies and lead Area Managers in one or more departments: Inbound Operations, Put to Light, Ticketing, Quality Control, or Outbound Operations. Your role is key to ensuring all distribution center operations run smoothly, from receiving and processing to storing, packing, and shipping merchandise, so we can deliver the right products to the right stores at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas.
• Operate warehouse management systems efficiently.
• Oversee inventory receipt and safe, efficient processing in the warehouse.
• Maintain and organize all warehouse areas to meet customer standards.
• Optimize staffing and efficiency levels to achieve accurate and timely product movement and processing.
• Design and implement cost-control systems in a dynamic business environment.
• Motivate, coach, and train area managers and associates through on-floor coaching and formal evaluations.
• Design and control delivery schedules to maximize store service and efficiency.
• Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to Burlington safety policies and procedures, including accident cost reduction and control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Understanding of supply chain, distribution, warehouse, transportation, and inventory.
• Experience with WMS, distribution technology, and equipment (conveyors, MHE, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures to perform system updates and operate DC programs.
• Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including Mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and stand for extended periods.

• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Schedule

Friday - Sunday, 5:00pm - 5:30am

Pay

Min-Mid $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 (salaried). Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, education, job-related skills, relevant experience, and geographic location.
