Key Responsibilities
- Daily Training Coordination
- Coordinate daily training activities and trainer assignments.
- Communicate training priorities and schedule changes.
- Serve as the day-to-day resource for Department Trainers.
- Provide coaching on training methods, documentation, and standards.
- Observe trainers and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with trainer qualification and certification activities.
- Escalate trainer performance or coverage concerns to the Learning Coordinator.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready training records.
- Follow up on missing documentation and overdue training.
New Hire & Skills Training
- Monitor new hire progress against established milestones.
- Support skills assessments and qualification activities.
- Maintain department skills matrices and certification information.
- Support cross-training and retraining initiatives.
- Communicate performance or training gaps to the Learning Coordinator and Operations.
LMS & Documentation
- Enter and maintain training completion information in the LMS.
- Maintain attendance, certification, and qualification records.
- Review records for accuracy and completeness.
- Follow up on missing documentation and overdue training.
Training Standards & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure trainers have current SOPs, work instructions, and job aids.
- Reinforce Standard Work, safety, quality, and compliance expectations.
- Identify outdated materials or recurring training gaps.
- Gather feedback from associates and trainers.
- Participate in training and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate degree or additional education is preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in manufacturing, distribution, operations, training, or a related environment is preferred.
- Previous Trainer, Department Trainer, Team Lead, or similar experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to train and coach associates is required.
- LMS experience is preferred.

- Strong communication and facilitation skills are necessary.
- A strong organization and attention to detail are required.
- The ability to manage multiple training priorities is crucial.
- The ability to identify training and performance gaps is important.
- Basic Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 skills are needed.
- The ability to learn and use LMS and other training systems is required.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and associate development is essential.
Physical Requirements
- The ability to work throughout an operational environment is required.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods is required.
- The ability to conduct and observe hands-on training is required.
- The ability to support assigned shift requirements is required.
- The ability to occasionally lift training materials/equipment up to 25 pounds is required.
