DC Lead Weekend Shift

About the role

The Distribution Center Lead reports to the Distribution Center Shift Manager and works Saturday through Monday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. This role is non-exempt.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all weekly distribution orders are shipped to stores in a timely manner
• Continuously review operational processes to verify accuracy and meet compliance standards, and make suggestions for improvement
• Assist in daily monitoring of productivity objectives to confirm they consistently meet company and departmental standards
• Partner with DC employees to correct mis-packs and mis-ships quickly and efficiently
• Ensure over picked product is accounted for at the end of each shift to verify inventory levels and inform management of any discrepancies
• Ensure the department is always clean, organized, and in line with all safety regulations
• Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers, and management
• Demonstrate high level of quality work, attendance, and appearance
• Adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
