DC Forklift Operator - Inbound

Essential Job Functions

  • Moving incoming merchandise from truck to dock, and dock to correct stocking areas.
  • Stocking all rack merchandise.
  • Arranging rack surplus from zones in the appropriate manner.
  • Setting down rack surplus for zones so orders can be filled and replenishments can be made to stocking locations.
  • Performing any miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck.
  • Replenishing outbound totes as needed, where applicable.
  • Aiding with maintenance of mezzanine zones.

Skills/Education/Experience Required

  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment.
  • Desired high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Experience operating various types of power equipment.
  • Advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
