DC Forklift Operator 1st Shift ($22.00/hr; M-F)

Ferguson, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Equipment Operator to join its dynamic team. This position offers a range of shift options, including 6a-2:30p (M-F) at $22.00/hr and 10a-6:30p (M-F) at $22.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day workflow of the department
- Aid in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly department goals
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Train and motivate subordinates to improve performance
- Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement by finding opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, quality, and cost reduction
- Work with the team to ensure the department remains clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
- Has proven the ability to train others
- Proficient in multiple core warehouse functions
- Proven understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficient
- Strong organization skills and leadership qualities to take and give team direction

Pay
The pay range for this role is $15.00 - $23.79 per hour, with the starting wage potentially higher in certain locations due to local or state wage requirements. This role is eligible for bonuses or incentives.
