DC ASSOCIATE PROJECT MGR

About the Role

Support the Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to closeout. Coordinate project activities and ensure timely communication between field crews, subcontractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and maintenance of project schedules, cost tracking, and budgets
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety compliance, and assist field supervision
• Enforce all Company, OSHA, and other applicable procedures and standards
• Assist with oversight, training, and development of crew
• Understand contract scope, including standard and special provisions, technical specifications, payment and change clauses, and scheduling milestones
• Complete all administrative documentation accurately and on time (safety audits, production reviews, change orders, billing for accounting)
• Promptly authorize invoices, receipts, and fuel charges
• Review project performance against budget
• Collaborate with customers to define value-add activities and meet their needs
• Improve personal, technical, and supervisory skills through development plans and training
• Represent and promote the company’s mission, vision, and values
• Complete safety training as required by position
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School education or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Valid DOT health card
• Previous utility construction and management experience
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
• Proficiency with computers and electronic devices
• Able to read blueprints and follow job specifications and orders
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
