DC Associate

About the role

The DC Associate at RahrBSG's Houston location is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within a distribution center. They support company initiatives by completing operational responsibilities, prioritizing accuracy, timeliness, safety, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare orders for shipment
• Sort and maintain stock inventory using RF scanner
• Transfer materials from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas
• Load and unload truck orders ensuring all loads are properly secured for outbound shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Maintain inventory records using worksheets and computer software
• Maintain and care for all equipment in the warehouse including forklifts
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Attention to detail
• Forklift experience is an asset
