Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Verifying merchandise by style, color, size and scanning.
• Ticketing merchandise in accordance with Bealls Ticketing Guidelines.
• Sorting merchandise according to the style, color, and size.
• Scanning documents and indicating the number of tubs and sorts.
• Accurately counting merchandise and filling out documents indicating the quantity of pieces.
• Packing the required units into the correct store location.
• Ensuring cartons or totes are full, applying store labels, taping carton lids, and placing onto takeaway conveyor.
• Packaging merchandise carefully into totes, cartons, or containers to prevent damage.
• Distributing merchandise, replenishing supplies needed, and maintaining cleanliness in the assigned area.
• Collecting empty totes and pallets and returning them to designated locations.
• Building boxes and ensuring they are available at all times for packing.

Physical Demands

• Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, climbing stairs) to perform essential job functions.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to use stairs to complete essential functions where the department is located.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to demonstrate equipment proficiency within the training period, including but not limited to: recording daily production by scanning or manual entry of numbers in the computer, using a pallet jack and other equipment to perform essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, prioritize work to business needs, and adapt to changing work environments.
• Must be able to accurately complete basic math skills.
• Must be able to handle cleaning equipment (broom, mop, duster, etc.) used for maintaining cleanliness.
