DBA ~ DB2 (Z/OS AND LUW)

About the role

DSN is seeking a senior DB2 Mainframe Database Administrator for a stable organization with great benefits. This position requires on-site presence four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain DB2 environments
• Perform physical DB2 database design for large tables
• Manage backup and recovery operations
• Support high-volume transaction processing
• Conduct performance tuning of DB2 systems

Requirements

• 8–10 years of expert-level DB2 database administration experience in a z/OS environment

Qualifications & Skills

• Familiarity with DB2 LUW (distributed) — desirable
• Data modeling experience — a plus
• Google Cloud Platform experience — a big plus
