Daytime Reset Merchandiser

As a reset team member, you will work collaboratively to reset and merchandise shelves according to approved planograms. Additional duties include moving, restocking, or rearranging product on store shelves.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Direct temporary/part-time workers when needed
- Work independently to execute category/aisle set plan
- Demonstrate teamwork when interacting with Kroger, National Food Brokers, and other P.L. Marketing employees
- Apply strong merchandising skills and ability to read, understand, and implement planograms per Kroger merchandising standards
- Operate Kroger equipment in a “safety first” manner
- Consistently communicate merchandising opportunities to supervisor
- Provide customer assistance
- Remain qualified as an insurable driver
- Up to 50% overnight travel may be required
- Perform additional store support outside of normal duties during periods of reduced scheduled hours (e.g., holidays or urgent customer needs)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)
- Ability to read, understand, and implement planograms
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Computer/internet access with knowledge of email and web-based applications
- Ability to adapt to advancing technology and computer solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Qualify as an insurable driver with an excellent driving record
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
- Smartphone with internet/data access (may require app installation with permissions such as location services, camera, and photo gallery access)
Physical Abilities
- Operate a motor vehicle unassisted
- Remain standing and/or walking unassisted for several hours at a time
- Lift, push, or pull 50 lbs. or more regularly and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
- Continuously reach up, bend down, and in all directions with unlimited upper body mobility
- Lift and extend 30 lbs. above the head, sometimes repeatedly
- Unlimited manual dexterity
- Tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures (0-90 degrees)
Qualifications
- Retail grocery store experience, especially merchandising experience
- Consumer product company experience with strong merchandising skills
- Broker experience with strong merchandising skills
