Daytime Light Janitorial/Housekeeping

This position is part-time, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to noon in Mauldin, ideal for someone seeking 12–15 daytime hours per week.

Remove debris and maintain common space areas.
Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures, including:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Emptying trash and cleaning windows.
- Moving furniture and equipment as needed.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; use proper PPE where required.
Clean all common space areas, including kitchen floors, cafeteria, lobby, and break room.
Place safety hazard signs (e.g., “wet floor”) as necessary.
Monitor, clean, service, and restock bathrooms.
Respond immediately to major spills or other cleaning emergencies.
Remove litter and debris from common space areas.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude, teamwork, punctuality, dependability, and adherence to uniform requirements.
Demonstrate respect and understanding for co-workers and customers.
Communicate effectively in English.

1–2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper, or in a similar role is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is beneficial.
Ability to work flexibly, at a fast pace, and multitask.
Physical ability to:
- Stand, walk, push, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead or forward for up to 100% of the workday.
- Lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
