Days (Victor) – Personal Care Aide Jobs (PCA)

About the role

CareGivers is seeking a Personal Care Aide for clients in Victor, NY (branch located in Canandaigua, NY). The role offers flexible scheduling, the ability to work one shift a week or more, and requires a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA (expired PCA/HHA accepted). The agency provides a family‑like environment and has over 50 years of home‑care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to help clients feel clean and refreshed
• Learn new recipes and prepare meals
• Tidy clients’ homes to maintain a healthy environment
• Ensure clients follow their medication schedules
• Perform other care tasks as needed to keep clients safe
• Run errands or shop for clients (requires reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license)

Requirements

• Current certification as PCA, HHA, or CNA (expired PCA or HHA acceptable)
• Willingness to transition from CNA to HHA via a free one‑day class (if needed)
• Qualified nursing students may work as HHAs
• Minimum age 18
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Caring, dependable, and able to meet health requirements
