Days (Greece) Personal Care Aide Jobs (PCA)
About the role
CareGivers is a licensed home care agency with 12 branches in Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania. We provide quality, compassionate home care services and are currently seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Home Health Aid (HHA) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help clients prepare meals and maintain a clean living environment
- Monitor and assist clients with medication schedules
- Ensure clients' safety and security
- Learn new recipes and help prepare meals
- Run errands and transport clients as needed
Requirements
- Must be certified PCA, HHA, or CNA
- If you have at least 3 months of previous hands-on caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Must be caring, dependable, and meet health requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Paid time off (up to 56 hours)
