Daycare Team Lead

About the role

The Team Lead at a child care center is a dynamic educator responsible for promoting children's social, physical, and intellectual development through classroom management and curriculum implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction, dedicating at least 50% of weekly time to direct teaching activities.
• Build strong relationships with families to support children's achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist in managing, training, and supporting new hires and fellow teachers.
• Serve as acting Director or Assistant Director during absences, including opening and closing the facility.
• Ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards for daily child care.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be energetic, dependable, and passionate, with at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience in a licensed childcare setting, classroom leadership, and lesson plan implementation is required.
• Preferred credentials include college credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a CDA.
• Ability to meet state and accreditation standards, and engage in physical activities indoors and outdoors, is necessary.
• Employment is contingent on a background check.

Pay

Salary ranges from $21.21 to $22.03 per hour, based on experience and education, with bi-weekly and daily pay options.

Schedule
