Daycare Teachers

About the role

Little Sprouts – Woburn is seeking dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teachers to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss child progress and provide updates
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation and bedtime

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid Massachusetts Early Childhood Professional License (ECP)
• At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 2-5
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Qualifications

• Experience with Montessori or other child-centered educational methods preferred
• Knowledge of child development stages and theories
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations

Pay

Salary range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
