The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our growing team. As a Daycare Teacher, you'll help children develop important social, emotional, language, and cognitive skills through hands-on activities, purposeful play, and meaningful interactions. Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom where children feel safe and supported
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play
• Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Supervise daily routines including meals, outdoor play, rest time, and classroom transitions
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Follow all New Jersey licensing regulations and center health and safety standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a daycare, childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education setting preferred
• Passion for working with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Competitive pay of $17–$18 per hour
• Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends
