Daycare Teacher

About the role

Christian Wee Learn Center in Martin, TN is seeking a qualified Daycare Teacher to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2), Preschool (3–5) in a faith-based program environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

We are looking for someone who has a heart for working with young children and would be a great addition to our team. The right person is dependable, communicates well, and truly enjoys helping children learn and grow. What You'll Do

• Plan and carry out fun, age-appropriate activities for the children
• Pay attention to each child’s growth and development and share updates with parents as needed
• Build strong, positive relationships with both children and their families
• Communicate with parents in a kind and professional way
• Help keep your classroom clean, safe, and organized
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Work well with your team to keep the day running smoothly
• Be willing to learn, grow, and continue training
• Help create a classroom that is loving, safe, and fun for every child

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must pass a background check
• Must complete required training prior to starting
• Reliable and shows up ready for the day
• Has a heart for working with children and works well with others

Nice to Have

• TECTA certification
• CDA (Child Development Associate)
• CPR certification
• Experience working in a childcare setting
• Experience with Brightwheel

Benefits

This Daycare Teacher role pays $10 to $13/Hr. This job is Full Time.
